EngineeringProject Engineer

The Structural Project Engineer at Cushing Terrell is an on-site position based in our Boise, Idaho office, with reasonable flexibility for occasional project site visits. What does this role involve day to day? Working with more independence than an entry-level engineer, this Project Engineer owns structural design decisions on assigned projects, directs and reviews calculation packages and Revit documentation prepared by Staff Engineers and EITs, resolves design conflicts directly with architecture, MEP, and civil teams, and leads QA/QC reviews across our retail, healthcare, commercial, education, government, living, and infrastructure markets.

What will I create? Rather than producing calculations from scratch, you will direct and validate the technical work of others, own coordinated construction documents end to end, and mentor Staff Engineers and EITs as they develop.

What does success look like year one? By year one, you will be a trusted Project Engineer who leads structural portions of projects with real ownership, mentors EITs and Staff Engineers, coordinates confidently across integrated teams, escalates risk before it becomes a problem, and helps establish reliable delivery habits for the Boise structural team.

The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000 annually.
