Trade Operations Specialist – Brokerage Management

We are looking for a Trade Operations Specialist – Brokerage Management to join our Global Trade Advisory & Solutions team and support one of our key international clients with the daily execution of its customs and brokerage management activities.

This is a hands-on operational role in a fast-paced international environment. You will work closely with customs brokers, client stakeholders and our Advisory team to monitor activities, follow up on open topics and ensure that operational tasks are completed accurately and on time.

We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, comfortable working under pressure and eager to further develop within customs and international trade.

  Support the daily execution and monitoring of customs brokerage activities

  Follow up with customs brokers and client stakeholders on open actions, operational topics and issues

• →

  Monitor broker performance, operational KPIs and customs-related data

• →

  Identify missing information, delays, discrepancies or inconsistencies and ensure appropriate follow-up

• →

  Escalate operational issues when required and support their timely resolution

• →

  Maintain operational trackers, reports and supporting documentation

• →

  Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure agreed actions are completed accurately and on time

  Support the team in resolving day-to-day operational issues related to customs and brokerage activities

  Ensure operational information and documentation are complete, accurate and kept up to date

  Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and optimization of brokerage management processes

• A hands-on operational role within our Global Trade Advisory & Solutions team

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in customs brokerage, customs, trade compliance, logistics, supply chain or a similar operational environment

• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of assigned activities

• Good communication skills and confidence working with different internal and external stakeholders

• Comfortable working with Excel, operational data, reports and trackers

• Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken

• Interest in developing further knowledge of customs, brokerage management and international trade

• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy and quality

• Reliable, structured and solution-oriented approach to day-to-day work
