Backend Developer (m/f/x)

Cyber Insight is revolutionizing IT security and data protection. We enable companies to independently assess their individual risks with the help of AI and provide users with concrete instructions on how to improve their risk profile.

The team currently consists of three experienced founders and a young team of developers.

• Develop scalable, secure, and reliable back-end systems
• Implement APIs and microservices
• Integrate databases and other external systems with the backend system
• Develop automated tests to ensure code quality and stability
• Monitor and analyze system performance and troubleshoot problems

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of Python and FastAPI
• Strong experience developing scalable backend systems, APIs, and distributed architectures
• Deep knowledge of SQL databases, especially PostgreSQL, including data modeling and query optimization
• Experience with RabbitMQ and asynchronous/event-driven architectures
• Experience with Google Cloud, Docker, CI/CD, and automated testing
• Strong understanding of backend architecture, performance, reliability, and maintainable software design
• You work independently, take ownership, and are comfortable questioning existing approaches
• You enjoy working in a fast-growing and evolving company
