The Senior Sanitation Truck Driver operates an 18 wheeler tractor-trailer truck to transport refuse, recycling, equipment, or other materials to locations within city limits. Operates various pieces of heavy equipment on the city's landfill to ensure that the streets and alleyways of Dallas are clean and free of trash and provides leadership, coaching, and training to co-workers and teammates.

Subject to twenty-four/seven (24/7) call-out.
Subject to inclement weather and toxic materials.
Availability to work various shifts (days, evenings, nights).

Salary Range

$24.39 - $27.71

Valid driver's license with good driving record.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) at time of application or must obtain within probationary period. Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) at time of application or must obtain within probationary period.
Applicants with a Class A CDL, issued by a state other than Texas, must obtain a Texas Class A CDL within probationary period.
Must pass background check.
