Fuel/Delivery Driver (G License)

D&G Landscaping is seeking a reliable and organized G License Driver to support our commercial landscape construction and heavy civil operations throughout the Ottawa region. This role is responsible for daily deliveries, material pickups, fuel runs, equipment support, and transporting documents and supplies between job sites, suppliers, and the main yard.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment with changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver fuel, construction materials, tools, and supplies to active job sites
• Pick up materials, parts, and equipment from local suppliers and vendors
• Transport cheques, permits, documents, and other company items as required
  
• Load, secure, and unload materials safely and efficiently
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of company vehicles
• Ensure all deliveries and pickups are completed accurately and on schedule
• Assist with yard organization and general labour tasks when required
• Maintain communication with supervisors and dispatch regarding schedules and site needs
• Follow all company safety procedures and Ministry of Transportation regulations

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario G Class Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract
• Experience driving pickup trucks, trailers, and/or cube vans preferred
• Knowledge of the Ottawa area and surrounding regions
• Forklift or trailer towing experience is an asset
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Early mornings and occasional overtime may be required during peak season
• Physically active role involving lifting, loading, and unloading materials
