Media & Communications Manager

The Media & Communications Manager will join a high-performing team dedicated to amplifying the Fund’s impact and strengthening its reputation as one of the region’s most respected private foundations. From shaping press strategies to preparing the CEO for high-profile engagements, from building trusted relationships with journalists to weaving narratives that showcase the Fund’s impact, this role is an opportunity to be a trusted storyteller, a relationship-builder, and a guardian of Bill Daniels’ legacy. The Media & Communications Manager will:

• Shape and distribute press releases, media advisories, op-eds, speeches, and talking points that elevate the Fund’s mission and priorities.
• Monitor media coverage, conduct research, and prepare timely news summaries and briefing materials for the CEO, leadership team, and board.
• Manage press inquiries, coordinate interviews, and oversee logistics for media events.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with local and national reporters.
• Prepare and support the CEO and staff for interviews, briefings, and public engagements.
• Coordinate crisis communication efforts with professionalism and discretion.
• Track communications metrics, analyze results, and contribute to strategic planning.
• Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

This position requires occasional evening, weekend, and travel commitments.
