ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Human Resources Department, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for deploying and driving the HR strategy and policies for Data4 in Italy, in alignment with the Group’s growth objectives and corporate social responsibility commitments.
The HRBP acts as a strategic partner to management, supporting business performance through effective people management, employee relations, talent development, and change management, while ensuring full compliance with local labor laws and Group policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Contribution to HR Strategy
- Collect and analyze HR needs from business units related to talent management, skills development, performance management, and organizational change.
- Contribute to the definition and deployment of HR policies and projects (skills development, working time organization, mobility, working conditions, compensation policies, etc.).
- Monitor economic, legal, and social developments impacting HR practices in Italy.
HR Policy Deployment, HR Advisory & Project Management
- Lead and monitor HR policies and projects in line with the defined strategy (performance management, compensation cycles, learning and development, etc.).
- Advise and support managers on all HR-related matters (employee lifecycle, performance, engagement, disciplinary matters, organizational issues).
- In close collaboration with Group HR teams (HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development), coordinate and ensure the effective implementation and control of HR processes.
- Contribute to the preparation and monitoring of the HR budget for Italy (payroll costs, workforce planning, training budget).
- Participate in HR diagnostics, audits, and improvement initiatives.
Compliance
- Advise management on labor law, employment regulations, risk management, and employee relations matters.
- Ensure compliance with Italian labor law, collective agreements, internal policies, and Group standards.
- Manage and monitor the legal follow-up of collective agreements and social dialogue outcomes.
- Ensure consistency with other European entities and contribute to cross-country HR projects.
- Organize, secure, and ensure the legal and social compliance, quality, and traceability of HR documentation.
Internal & External Communication
- Facilitate and support internal communication, acting as a key interface between management and employees.
- Promote a positive social climate and strong company culture through active listening, confidentiality, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Propose and support the organization of internal events.
Contribute to external communication initiatives, including employer branding and company reputation.
REQUIREMENTS
Education and experience
- Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Law, Employment/Labor Law, Management, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, or Social Sciences.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Human Resources, ideally with strong exposure to labor law and employee relations, within a fast-growing or international environment.
Technical skills
- Strong expertise across all HR disciplines.
- Excellent knowledge of employee relations and labor law (Italian context).
- Solid project management skills.
- Strong understanding of work organization and change management.
- Fluent professional Italian and English is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
