3rd Shift Diesel Technician/Mechanic

• Hourly Rate: $25.00–$30/hr
  • Additional Rate(s): overtime opportunities, + $2/hr for 3rd shift differential, and ASE bonus offers.
• Schedule: 11pm-7am, Tuesday-Saturday
  • Scheduled days off: Sunday + Monday.

• →Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of vehicles.
• →Performs diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles.
• →Completes required paperwork in regards to repair orders and parts usage.
• →Makes road calls - this may require travel.
• →Owns and maintains the proper hand tools to perform job functions.
• →Follow orders of the shop foreman or other supervisor.

• High school diploma, trade school or equivalent.

• 3+ years training or experience in the field of automotive, truck or bus repair.
• Dealership experience preferred.
• Valid CT driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Hold or be eligible to obtain a CDL license.
• Hold or be willing to work toward ASE certifications.

• Adequate English verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be a self-starter.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, twist, stand, walk, and work in and around vehicles for extended periods.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment safely.
