DeepHealth employs people across 13 countries with main offices in the UK, the Netherlands, and Hungary. As we grow, our presence and employee base within Europe is expanding. The HR Generalist, Europe is a Netherlands-based role supporting employees and managers across the European region. This position covers the full range of day-to-day HR activities including employee lifecycle administration, employee relations, and Dutch employment law compliance, while also maintaining a strong operational backbone through HRIS ownership, data integrity, and process improvement. The HR Generalist serves as the primary point of contact for HR queries in Europe and contributes to broader HR projects and people initiatives across DeepHealth.

Responsibilities include:
• Manage employee lifecycle administration including onboarding, offboarding, contract changes, and personnel file maintenance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee and manager HR queries across Europe, providing clear and timely guidance on HR processes and policies.
• Ensure compliance with Dutch employment law including sick leave management (Wet verbetering poortwachter), UWV notifications, and Arbodienst coordination.
• Maintain HRIS data accuracy through regular data entry, audits, and reporting to support HR and business decision-making.
• Support HR policy drafting, updates, and communication, acting as a knowledgeable resource for employees and managers on policy questions.
• Identify and implement improvements to HR workflows and processes to drive operational efficiency and consistency across the region.
• Contribute to HR projects and strategic initiatives, coordinating tasks, tracking timelines, and supporting cross-functional stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams including Finance, IT, and Legal to ensure alignment of HR systems and operational processes.
• Support culture-building activities and contribute to a positive employee experience across the European team.
• Provide talent acquisition support as needed, including resume screening, introductory interviews, and interview scheduling.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an HR generalist, HR operations, or similar HR role required.
• Knowledge of Dutch employment law required, including sick leave regulations (Wet verbetering poortwachter) and UWV processes.
• Experience with HRIS systems including data management, reporting, and workflows.
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear guidance to employees and managers at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Fluent in English required; Dutch and/or French language skills preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
This position often requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching with hands and arms, using hands and fingers, handling, or feeling, speaking, listening, and high-level cognitive thinking. Also, must be able to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally. The position requires the ability to travel (~10% of time), drive a vehicle, and utilize other forms of transportation.
Communicates, cooperates, and consistently functions professionally and harmoniously with all levels of supervision, co-workers, patients, visitors, and vendors.
Demonstrates initiative, personal awareness, professionalism and integrity, and exercise confidentiality in all areas of performance.

Completes job responsibilities in a quality and timely manner.
This is a hybrid position in the Netherlands.

€45,000-€55,000 per year
This position also has the possibility to work 32 or 36 hours a week.
