This is a full-time position. You will be responsible for prepping, sanding, and painting Dejana trucks and vans.

• Prime, paint, and touchup vehicles with power spray equipment and brushes.
• Mix all types of paints for proper color, formula, conditions, viscosity, and consistency.
• Perform titrations and mix or adjust chemicals as necessary in paint, or other processes.
• Sand, wash, and condition parts as necessary. Light bodywork may be required.
• Inspect product before, during, after paint process to ensure specifications are being met.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years’ experience in the painting of automotive or heavy vehicle/equipment in a manufacturing, industrial, or automotive body shop is a plus.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Capability to be detail oriented and organized.
• Capability to be self-motivated and able to meet manufacturing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to operate hand tools and power tools.

• Position requires standing on hard surface, with a substantial amount of pushing, pulling and lifting.
• Position requires ability to frequently lift objects up to 50 pounds.
• Position requires moderately difficult, manipulative and hand-eye coordination skills
• Position requires seeing objects closely.
• Position requires the ability to concentrate on fine detail with constant interruption and attend to tasks for 20 to 45 minutes at a time.
• This job is indoors in a traditional manufacturing/warehouse setting. Activities will include both sitting and standing. These activities will occur in the production areas and inside paint booths.
• There may be exposure to hazardous fumes from paint and paint-mixing ingredients.
• There will be varying temperatures between different areas, up to 100 degrees at times.
• There will be normal manufacturing sounds with some background noise.
