About the Role

Within this context the Specialist VET Teacher will deliver and manage appropriate VET programs for students, through the provision of instructional and classroom-based activities, and the assessment of individual student progress.

Subject - Farm/Agriculture/Rural Futures.

We are looking for

• Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)
• Current certificate of registration; or provisional registration; or limited authority to teach granted by the Teachers Registration Board (Tasmania) in accordance with the provisions of the Teachers Registration Act 2000)
• Meet the requirements of the Credential Policy under the 2025 Standards for RTOs by holding one of the following
  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor, 
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, 
  • TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, 
  • A diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education or vocational education and training. 
  • A secondary teaching qualification and one of the following credentials: 
    • TAESS00011 Assessor Skill Set, or 
    • TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set or its successor, or 
    • TAESS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set or its successor.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience in a Vocational Education and Training environment.
