The Role

As a Product Designer at Deputy, you’ll help shape the future of work for millions of shift workers worldwide! We’re on a mission to make every shift count, creating intuitive, impactful tools that empower businesses and their teams.

As a key member of our product team, you'll design experiences that not only make work easier and more engaging for our customers but also bring true value to their daily lives. If you're passionate about building seamless, user-centred solutions with real-world impact, we’d love to hear from you!

Your Team

Engages in shared rituals like design critiques, jams, pairings, retros, and strategy days to fuel creativity and growth
Supports each other in achieving both professional and personal goals

Actively influences business strategy and drives impactful outcomes
Is guided by a strong mission, vision, values, and a focused design strategy
Enjoys time together, whether it’s at the office for design days or at team social events

Lead as a strategic, influential product designer within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary squad

Craft innovative solutions that make work simpler, more engaging, and rewarding for shift workers and their teams

Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to shape the roadmap and bring impactful ideas to life

Build a deep, data-driven understanding of customer needs and challenges through insightful research

Define a bold vision for the future of your design domain, driving its evolution and impact

Own the full design journey—from conducting research to partnering with engineers for flawless, pixel-perfect execution

5+ years of experience in product design, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role in a SaaS environment.

A socially driven designer passionate about creating a brighter, more inclusive future for shift workers and the businesses that support them

Proven experience as a product designer, with a track record of delivering impactful software products to customers

A problem-solver eager to simplify complex, legislation-related challenges for both shift workers and business owners

An eye for detail and a dedication to high-quality design

A proactive collaborator who values feedback and seeks out diverse perspectives

A natural storyteller, able to convey design decisions clearly and persuasively

A motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced, growing company and embraces the challenges of ambiguity

Bonus: Experience designing for Payroll or similar financial products, with an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this space
