Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance System & Documentation Management
- Develop, optimize, and maintain the entire maintenance documentation system, including Critical Preventive Maintenance (CPM) schedules, Work Instructions (WI), forms, and PM standards.
- Ensure all user manuals, technical files, and maintenance records for systems and equipment are accurately documented, up-to-date, and readily accessible.
- Control the revision and distribution of all maintenance-related documents.
Project Management & Installation Support
- Assist the Maintenance Manager in preparing technical files for equipment, facility, and building projects.
- Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to monitor on-site installation quality, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification.
- Direct and execute construction, mechanical/electrical installation, and development activities for utility/power systems and production equipment in compliance with company and Chinese standards.
Technical Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Coach and mentor technicians in advanced troubleshooting, modification, and repair techniques.
- Develop and implement cost-optimized and efficiency-driven solutions for equipment issues and process improvements.
- Provide direct technical support to the technician team to resolve complex problems and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Spare Parts & Procurement Management
- Manage the spare parts inventory, including establishing stock levels, to ensure critical parts are available for maintenance and repair needs.
- Coordinate with procurement and suppliers for material and spare part procurement, including generating Bills of Materials (BOMs), obtaining quotations, and processing orders.
Reporting, Supervision & Administration
- Regularly survey equipment conditions and report on breakdowns, preventive maintenance status, and job progress to the Maintenance Manager.
- Supervise, assign tasks, and monitor the performance of subordinate technicians and trainees.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager to support the needs of the maintenance department.
