Position Summary:  

OceanX is seeking a Missions Intern to support the planning, coordination, and execution of OceanX’s global expeditions and initiatives. This role provides hands-on exposure to mission planning processes, cross-functional collaboration, and operational workflows that support science, media, education, and partnership efforts.

Working closely with the Missions team, the intern will assist with organizing information, maintaining systems, supporting meetings and reporting, and contributing to special projects that enhance operational effectiveness. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated student or recent graduate interested in ocean exploration, operations, logistics, or mission-driven work to gain experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

This program will run from June through August and involves working approximately 40 hours per week. This opportunity operates on a hybrid work schedule in our NYC office to allow for in-person meetings/collaboration.

Compensation for the role consists of a $20/hour wage. This position is eligible for statutory benefits only.
