About the Role

As an Engagement Manager, you’ll own the operational, financial, and delivery success of a portfolio of federal government contracts, serving as the primary relationship manager for your customers while leading employee performance and driving profitable growth.

This role is a growth engine for PSG: you’ll own the health of every customer engagement, from your team’s success and contract profitability to delivery excellence and identifying where PSG can expand its footprint across federal programs.

  • Step into your assigned portfolio of federal contracts as the primary point of contact for customers and prime contractor stakeholders, building trusted relationships with program and contract managers
  • Get a clear picture of each program’s financial health, including budgets, burn rate, EAC, and labor utilization, partnering with Finance to validate invoices and resolve open issues
  • Meet with your team through regular one-on-ones to understand performance, career goals, and any employee relations issues that need attention
  • Review contract deliverables and program documentation to flag delivery risks early and confirm compliance requirements are on track
  • Lead regular program and business reviews with customers, identifying expansion opportunities such as new task orders, contract modifications, or additional labor categories
  • Drive gross margin improvement and revenue forecasting across your portfolio, partnering with Finance on monthly business reviews
  • Coach and develop your team, owning performance management and retention across assigned programs
  • Partner with Business Development and Sales on capture strategies and proposal support to convert organic opportunities into new revenue
  • Build the operational processes, resource plans, and lessons-learned practices that keep contract execution running smoothly
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus five or more years managing federal government contracts or programs
  • Experience supporting the Department of War, Intelligence Community, or other federal agencies
  • A track record managing customer relationships and contract financial performance in government contracting
  • Experience managing employee performance, career development, and cross-functional teams
