Principal Category Manager

We are looking for Senior Category Manager who will develop and execute Enterprise Software category plans to drive improvements in supplier quality, total cost effectiveness, supplier service levels, coordination, delivery, pricing, lead-times, payments and risk mitigation. You will execute category sourcing strategies including development and implementation of RFIs and RFPs, selection criteria, supplier negotiation and ongoing supplier management. Cooperation with operations, production, sales and other cross-functional teams is needed to ensure ongoing alignment and support of category management or new product introduction goals and objectives.

• Provide Category Management advice and consultation across the company
• Exercise global purchasing responsibility for Enterprise Software category (Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, etc.)
• Contribute to the development and implementation of supplier governance and management processes to ensure sustained value and mitigation of suppler risk
• Monitor cost trends for assigned categories, reporting on impact and avoidance strategies
• Develop category baseline information to ensure understanding of current supplier / spend underpins decisions related to performance planning, total cost management and value improvement
• Collect and conduct analysis of spend and other relevant data to identify expense reduction and operational improvement opportunities
• Lead strategic supplier negotiations, driving positive outcomes that achieve all relevant total cost and business objectives
• Monitor supplier performance and end-user satisfaction through the terms of the contract
• Develop and ensure execution of category strategies that balance company / supplier relationships in collaboration with business partners
• Address and recommend issue / risk mitigation strategies.

• Senior level of experience in software procurement
• Great understanding of software on-premise solutions and cloud-based subscription models
• Professional communication and negotiation skills
• English language on fluent business level

 Pay Transparency Statement
The monthly base salary range for this position is 19,000.00 PLN Gross to 27,300.00 PLN gross.
Actual compensation will depend on factors such as qualifications, skills, competencies, geographic location, and relevant experience. Certain roles may include additional components beyond base salary, such as incentive opportunities or other forms of variable compensation. Details of any such components will be discussed during the interview process and will be governed by the applicable plan documents.
