As the Senior Network Engineer – Client Facing, you will be responsible for client solutions, configuration and support. Providing operation, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise network and security infrastructures across both company and customer environments. This role supports SD WAN, MPLS routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs and related technologies deployed in these environments. The position includes provisioning, troubleshooting, migrations, documentation, vendor coordination and direct customer support. The engineer contributes to ITIL processes, RCA activities, and assists in strengthening standards, architecture designs, and technology roadmaps. Close collaboration with customers, internal teams, ISPs, and vendors is essential.

  • Manage and troubleshoot network hardware and appliances including SD WAN devices, MPLS routers, firewalls, VPN concentrators, and related components.
  •  Administer network security systems such as firewalls, site to site and client VPNs, IDS/IPS, and reverse proxy gateways.
  • Participate in daily communication with customers and internal stakeholders to support ongoing operational requirements.
  • Perform provisioning and onboarding network and security appliances.
  • Execute software and firmware upgrades, including patching and updates following proper change management procedures.
  • Manage appliance licensing and ensure timely installation and renewal.
  • Monitor network and security vulnerabilities and support remediation efforts.
  • Proactively monitor network infrastructure using enterprise monitoring tools and respond to performance or availability issues.
  • Handle incidents and service requests within defined SLAs, collaborating with internal teams, vendors, ISPs, and customers.
  • Troubleshoot issues across SD WAN, VPNs, firewalls, vendor routers, and LAN/WAN infrastructure.
  • Analyze network and security incidents and maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Open and manage vendor support cases (TAC) for hardware and software issues.
  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex network incidents across routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, and perimeter security layers.
  • Perform advanced configuration, optimization, and tuning of routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, controllers, and virtual network appliances.
  • Prepare, plan, and manage network and security infrastructure migrations.
  • Support the design and testing of network and security architectures.
  • Provide consulting input to technical and non-technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to network architecture design, standards development, and long term technology roadmaps.
  • Recommend improvements for performance, availability, security, and overall optimization.
  • Create and update documentation including topology diagrams, configuration records, installation guides, and operational procedures.
  • Deliver and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for incidents.
  • Mentor colleagues, provide internal training, and support knowledge sharing.
  • Support network audits.
  • Participate in on call duty 
  • Work with HW installations at the office premises

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor Engineering or equivalent work experience required.
  • 6+ years of experience in network and/or network security engineering.
  • Expertise in client facing environments, client advisement and support.
  • Advanced in firewall technologies preferably Palo Alto.
  • Advanced in SD WAN platform - Cisco or other enterprise vendors
  • Strong knowledge of IPsec VPNs.
  • Hands-on experience supporting enterprise network environments, including hardware installation, provisioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working in international, customer-facing environments.
  • CCNP certification or equivalent industry standard.

  • Requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within a team environment. 
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
