Responsible for material shipping, receiving and processing according to company policies and procedures. Ensures the orderly stocking and efficient flow of both inbound and outbound materials / equipment. Maintains and updates required documentation / reporting as shipments are received, cancelled or back ordered. Ensures documentation is up-to-date and reflective of material orders, deliveries, storage and distribution.

  • Provides Manufacturing Warehouse Operations support within a site or location.
  • Loads and unloads trucks, checking for and noting physical discrepancies on delivery documents.
  • Moves delivered material to appropriate receiving area.
  • Opens shipments, removes goods, sorting and inspecting for concealed damage and discrepancies in quantity and/or quality.
  • Picks and transacts inventory movement for bin replenishment in support of manufacturing operations.
  • Reports discrepancies to Quality Control and Material Analysts.
  • Identifies field returns by part number, verifying accompanying documentation.
  • Moves received goods to storage areas.
  • Sorts and consolidates pick / pack slips by priority, shipping code and destination - picking and counting material per order.
  • Bags and includes service parts labels for each part number picked, attaching pick / pack to completed orders.
  • Ensures orders are consolidated, allocated to the most economical shipping containers and packed to ensure protection in transit and compliance with customer and appropriate regulatory requirements.
  • Weighs truck shipments, creates bills of lading and communicates with carriers as required to ensure on time pick up and transport.
  • Organizes to-be-shipped materials in temporary holding areas.
  • Loads outbound carriers.
  • Performs general warehouse housekeeping on a daily basis.
  • Maintains and updates reports and required documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Education or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Manufacturing Warehouse Operations.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
