digiLab is a formative AI company with world-leading specialists in uncertainty quantification, applied where the stakes are highest and the margin for error is smallest.

Our customers are among the largest and most advanced engineering and science-led organisations in the world, and they're using our technology to tackle some of society's biggest challenges. How do we make fusion energy a commercial reality? Can we drive down the cost of renewable energy and accelerate the transition to a sustainable future? How do we support coral reef restoration, or strengthen Britain's national security? These are just a few of the critical questions our technology is helping to answer.

At the heart of our work is the Uncertainty Engine, digiLab's trustworthy and explainable AI platform, enabling our customers to accelerate innovation, reduce risk, and deliver real value through more confident decisions.

We are looking for ambitious team members to help shape our pioneering technology and tackle some of the world's most impactful problems.

The full-time (Senior) Product Designer role (Monday to Thursday) involves undertaking critical user research and design activities to deliver compelling, intuitive products and experiences at digiLab.

Working closely and cross-functionally with internal teams, the role spans user research, information architecture, product discovery and prototyping, interaction and UI design, product documentation and design systems.

As digiLab scales beyond its core product offering, this role will help us understand user needs, bring clarity and structure to complex problems, and explore and validate new products and functionality. Working closely with our Design Lead, you will help strengthen the consistency and rigour of our design practice while continuing to contribute directly to high-quality UI design.

As the (Senior) Product Designer at digiLab, you will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with our Design Lead and Product Management to understand user and business needs and translate them into effective design solutions.
  • Conducting user research and usability testing, synthesising findings and using evidence to inform and validate product and design decisions.
  • Developing information architectures, user flows and content structures that make complex products, functionality and documentation clear and intuitive.
  • Helping shape new product offerings and functionality through discovery, rapid prototyping and validation, from early concepts through to detailed design.
  • Creating wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs, contributing directly to interaction and UI design.
  • Collaborating with Product, Engineering and other teams to ensure designs are feasible, coherent and translate effectively into production.
  • Contributing to our design system and shared design practices, helping establish greater consistency and rigour as digiLab grows, while adopting AI tools where appropriate to accelerate your work.
