Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of data center construction projects, including new builds, fit-outs, upgrades, and infrastructure projects. 

  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, resources, and performance metrics to ensure successful project outcomes. 

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, consultants, vendors, and customers to align project objectives and execution plans. 

  • Oversee all phases of construction, from design development and procurement through construction, commissioning, and project closeout. 

  • Champion a strong safety culture by partnering with Health & Safety teams and ensuring compliance with all safety requirements and standards. 

  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, resolve issues, and drive corrective actions to maintain schedule, budget, and quality targets. 

  • Manage contracts, change requests, contractor payments, cost controls, financial tracking, and value engineering initiatives.

  • Establish and maintain project governance, reporting, communication structures, and stakeholder engagement across local and global teams. 

  • Conduct quality inspections, audits, and reviews to ensure compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. 

  • Drive continuous improvement, standardization, cost savings initiatives, and best-practice adoption across construction projects.

 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

  • Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects, preferably within data centers, mission-critical facilities, or similar complex environments. 

  • Strong knowledge of construction project management methodologies, processes, and industry best practices. 

  • Familiarity with data center infrastructure, design principles, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems. 

  • Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, contractors, risk mitigation, KPIs, and financial controls.

  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, influencing, and people management skills. 

  • Experience driving continuous process improvement, governance frameworks, and performance reporting. 

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. 

  • Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, is essential.

  • Proficiency with project management tools and software, along with a customer-focused, proactive, adaptable, and collaborative approach.
