Are you an Electrical Engineer looking to develop your career in a mission-critical environment? Join our Data Center Operations team in Athens and play a key role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and efficiency of critical infrastructure that powers digital services across the region.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will support the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and electromechanical systems within a state-of-the-art Data Center. Working closely with the Engineering Operations team, you will help maintain the highest standards of performance, safety, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • โ†’Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on critical electrical infrastructure and associated systems.
  • โ†’Troubleshoot equipment and support the resolution of technical incidents.
  • โ†’Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively identify potential issues or risks.
  • โ†’Support switching operations and maintenance activities to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
  • โ†’Coordinate and supervise contractors and external service providers on-site.
  • โ†’Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents when required.
  • โ†’Contribute to energy efficiency, sustainability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • โ†’Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities operations and maintenance of large-scale electrical and/or mechanical systems.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, operational environment.
  • Hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience in Data Centers, critical facilities, industrial environments, utilities, or similar infrastructure is highly desirable.
The technician provides 24/7 technical support, responding promptly to customer requests and operational incidents. They perform hands-on repairs, manage equipment installations, and assist with migration processes to ensure seamless customer implementation. Maintaining inventory accuracy and adhering to strict health and safety standards are key aspects of the role. The technician works collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve issues efficiently, always prioritizing customer satisfaction. They are expected to demonstrate a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality service. Effective communication and teamwork are vital, as is the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems under pressure. - 0-2 Years experience in a data center environment - Previous technical experience in IT or a related industrial field - Vocational school or secondary education in an IT technical field - Certification as a qualified electrician is a distinct advantage - ITIL certification or training is an advantage - Fluent in English, both written and spoken - Strong communication skills - Attention to detail - Commitment and drive - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Proactive, can-do attitude - Client-focused approach - Teamwork and collaboration - Adherence to health and safety standards - Problem-solving and troubleshooting
