This role is best suited for someone who understands security through the lens of real-world IT operations. The environment is heavily Microsoft-focused, with Azure serving as the organization's primary cloud platform. Candidates who have experience supporting Azure environments and enjoy working across security, infrastructure, and cloud technologies will be most successful.
- 2-5 years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Systems Administration, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Hands-on experience supporting security initiatives within Microsoft Azure environments
- Experience with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Entra ID, Conditional Access, and related Microsoft security technologies
- Strong understanding of security operations, vulnerability management, incident response, and cloud security
- Understanding of networking, identity management, operating systems, and enterprise infrastructure
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively identify opportunities for improvement
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Requirements
~1 min read- Security+, CISSP, SC-200, AZ-500, or similar certifications
- Experience supporting Microsoft security technologies within Azure environments
- Experience with vulnerability management platforms and remediation programs
- Experience working within a small-to-medium sized organization where security professionals maintain broad ownership
- Compensation: $105,000 - $116,000 depending on experience
- Full-time direct hire opportunity
- Onsite five days per week during the first 90 days
- Eligible for a 3 days onsite / 2 days remote schedule following successful completion of the onboarding period
