Lead and grow a dynamic DevOps team within DKB Code Factory, the tech hub of one of Germany’s largest direct banks. As Engineering Manager DevOps, you will drive scalable, reliable deployment processes and mentor engineers, enabling cross-location teams to deliver innovative digital banking solutions faster and with confidence.

Responsibilities

→Lead and develop the Valencia-based DevOps engineers, fostering collaboration with teams in Germany.
→Standardize deployment patterns, including rollback strategies, and drive adoption of best practices across product and business teams.
→Own and enhance shared DevOps assets like Helm charts, ensuring quality, documentation, and test coverage.
→Introduce and scale major DevOps improvements such as preview environments, progressive delivery, and observability enhancements.
→Support skill development and career growth within the team, maintaining sustainable delivery pace and strong engagement.
→Collaborate closely with product owners, platform teams, and other stakeholders to align DevOps initiatives with business needs.

Requirements

Proven experience managing and mentoring DevOps or infrastructure engineering teams.
Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Helm (chart design, templating, versioning), CI/CD systems (e.g., GitLab CI/CD), containerization, and Git workflows.
Familiarity with cloud providers (e.g., AWS), observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana), Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), and security-aware CI/CD practices is a plus.
Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
Ability to foster a collaborative, growth-oriented, and empathetic team culture.
Experience standardizing deployment processes and driving cross-team adoption of best practices.
