About the Role

We’re looking for a Social Manager to help build and champion DoorDash Canada’s social channels. You will lead an always-on social strategy that taps local culture, sports moments, and tier-one occasions to make DoorDash distinct, credible, and expressive in-market. Additionally, you will build and operationalize a clear social measurement framework, defining performance standards, proving impact on brand health, and unlocking smarter optimization for the creative work. You’ll report into the Social Director within our Marketing organization.

  • Ability to positively impact account growth & engagement with organic moments & proactive campaigns for DoorDash CA social 
  • Develop scroll-stopping moments that are focused on building brand equity for DoorDash CA social 
  • Unlock new fandoms and verticals for DoorDash CA to engage with
  • Strategize a forward thinking plan for DoorDash CA social 
  • Develop cross functional relationships & projects to push the brand further with new experimentation 
  • Reporting on impact and strategizing new frontiers 
  • 4+ years of relevant content experience brand side or within creative agencies.
  • The ability to make culture-moving content for the feed
  • A test-and-learn mindset to constantly optimize creative with data drivin decisions
  • A strong sense of organic social’s place with day-to-day content and in campaigns 
  • A track record of partnering with creative teams to help create owned social-first moments 
  • A desire to collaborate with creative teams and brand strategy 
  • A deep passion for culture, the internet and creation

Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location. 

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within British Columbia.
