About the Role
~1 min readWe are looking for a motivated and hands-on operator to own critical aspects of a new business focused on reducing restaurants’ costs. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end supply chain function—from sourcing and vendor management to demand forecasting, inventory planning, and logistics execution. You will own relationships with key external partners including suppliers and third-party logistics providers, and ensure we are able to deliver high in-stock rates while maintaining strong unit economics. You will also partner internally with stakeholders including Sales, Finance, Legal, Product, and Engineering to build a reliable and cost-efficient supply chain.
This is a highly cross-functional and externally-facing role that requires strong ownership, analytical rigor, and the ability to operate in ambiguity while building from 0→1.
About the Role
~1 min read- Own and scale a critical pillar of a 0→1 business – Lead the end-to-end supply chain function including vendor management, forecasting, inventory, and logistics.
- Build and operate a reliable, cost-efficient supply chain – Ensure we consistently deliver high in-stock rates while optimizing for cost, speed, and working capital.
- Own and develop key external partnerships – Manage relationships with suppliers and logistics partners, driving performance across cost, quality, and reliability.
- Drive strategic decision-making through data – Develop forecasts and operational plans, evaluate tradeoffs, and continuously improve supply chain performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to shape the business – Partner with Assortment, Growth, Sales, Finance, Product, and Engineering to align supply with demand and enable growth.
- Build from first principles – Create processes, tools, and playbooks to scale a new and evolving business within DoorDash.
- You have 5+ years of experience in strategy, business development, operations, technology, banking, consulting, or high-growth or early-stage startups. Experience in sourcing, 3PL operations, and inventory & demand planning is a plus.
- You are an operator and builder – you are comfortable working in ambiguity, getting to the lowest level of detail, building processes from scratch, and scaling them over time.
- You are analytical and data-driven – you can run analyses and manipulate datasets; SQL experience is strongly preferred.
- You are a clear communicator and relationship builder – you can influence both internal stakeholders and external partners.
- You have business acumen – you understand how supply chain decisions impact cost, margin, and customer experience.
- You have a strong sense of ownership – you take responsibility for outcomes and move quickly to solve problems.
- You have a bias for action and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
- You are excited to leverage AI to improve productivity and decision-making, and are ready to learn and adapt alongside this evolving technology.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- You're comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, and problem-solving. You should be actively exploring and applying AI in your day-to-day work, bringing a beginner’s mindset and curiosity as you continuously learn and adapt alongside evolving technology.

Compensation
The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

- For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
- For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
