• Hourly Pay: $26.77 + $4.98/hr Stipend
• Hours Per Week: Approx 39 hours per week
• Schedule: Monday - Saturday

• Deliver SOLO To:150 Mile radius of Fayetteville, NC
• Route: Local Home Daily
• Tractor Type: Day Cab
• Trailer Type: Dry Van 53' & Straight Truck 26'
• Equipment: Rolling Carts
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Freight: Touch -US Mail

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Must have verifiable driving experience (*must be in like equipment if position being applied for is operating a straight truck or box truck):
  • 6 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR 
  • 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years' experience within the last 10 years 
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note: Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

• →This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
• →Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• →Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• →Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• →Maintaining accurate records Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• →Other tasks as assigned
