Job Title: Material Planner
City: Toluca, Estado de Mexico
As a Material Planner you will be responsible for Manage, maintain, and improve the procurement of raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods while keeping the KPIs of the area under control. (service level, inventory level and inventory losses). Additionally, this role is responsible for leading the raw material forecasting process for the North American production sites, communicating forward‑looking forecasts to suppliers, and executing timely follow‑ups to ensure reliable, on‑time, in‑full material supply.
Your key responsibilities
* Creation of Purchase Orders to fulfill demand requirements for procured materials, considering the demand, stock level
* Monitor purchase requisitions with release date in the past (weekly).
* Analyze and take action to solve the raw material crisis alerts (daily).
* Keep planning parameters up to date (adhoc).
* Follow-up on delivery date confirmations with external suppliers and act on the missing confirmations (daily).
* Monitor purchase orders with delivery date in the past to take action if needed and keep system updated(daily).
* Confirm sales order to CX team for trading materials (daily).
* Contribute to keep Planning KPIs under control (daily).
* Support follow up and closure of Supplier Non-Conformances (ad hoc).
* Escalate the issues that could impact business continuity and/or planning KPIs (ad hoc).
* Provide forecast to external suppliers (ad hoc).
* Request re-birth to the Quality team of raw materials close to expire (ad hoc).
You Bring
* 1 to 3 years of experience as Material Planner, Demand Planner or in the logistic area.
* Bachelor Degree (Titulado)
* Excel (pivot tables)
* SAP - desirable
