The Senior Product Analyst plays a key role in helping us build better products through data-driven decision making. Working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers and Data Engineers, you'll transform complex product data into actionable insights that shape product strategy, improve user experiences and drive measurable business outcomes.
You'll champion product analytics across our product teams, enabling experimentation, establishing best practices and ensuring decisions are backed by meaningful data.
Responsibilities
~1 min readYou'll combine analytical expertise, product knowledge and stakeholder collaboration to deliver insights that influence product direction and maximise customer value.
- →Own product analytics across a portfolio of products, defining key metrics and ensuring they are measured, reported and understood effectively
- →Partner with Product Managers, Engineering Managers and Product Designers to support product strategy, objectives and key results (OKRs)
- →Identify opportunities to improve product performance through data analysis, experimentation and evidence-based recommendations
- →Work closely with Data Engineers and product squads to ensure the right data is captured, modelled and available for meaningful analysis
- →Deliver end-to-end analytics, from defining requirements and success metrics through to presenting insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- →Build, maintain and continuously improve product performance dashboards that provide clear, actionable visibility into product health
- →Support product discovery, roadmap planning and experimentation by providing data-driven insights and commercial context
- →Leverage multiple data sources to identify trends, answer business questions and uncover new opportunities for product improvement
- →Continuously improve analytics practices, reporting tools, data visualisation and automation to enable faster, more effective decision making
- →Communicate insights clearly through compelling data visualisation and storytelling tailored to technical and non-technical audiences
You'll bring strong analytical capability, curiosity and a passion for using data to solve product challenges while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in product analytics, product management, product ownership or a similar analytics-focused role within a software or technology environment
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting complex data and translating findings into actionable business recommendations
- Experience working with cross-functional product teams, including Product Managers, Engineers, Designers and Data Engineers
- Knowledge of product metrics, experimentation, performance measurement and product analytics best practices
- Experience building dashboards and communicating insights through effective data visualisation and storytelling
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision making through data
- Understanding of statistical analysis, product performance measurement and commercial drivers
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
