In this role, you will develop an understanding of the specific regulations that apply to our products in the area of sustainability and environmental regulation for substances within products. You will work with internal teams and suppliers to identify, collect and document compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Support efforts to ensure that Echodyne products are safe, sustainable, compliant, operationally effective, and cost-effective
- →Drive data collection and evaluation of material information of components for compliance with RoHS, REACH, POP, TSCA PBT, PFAS, Conflict Minerals, and other regulations
- →Maintain data storage and analysis of substance compliance data.
- →Generate reports and compliance statements against each regulation for Echodyne products
- →Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of applicable regulations, guidelines, and good practices
- →Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, and Component Engineering teams in product development to identify and support verification of sustainability requirements
- Ability to work in a small team environment to lead and drive completion of project milestones
- 2+ years of experience with project management
- Eligibility to handle export-controlled information (ITAR/EAR)
- Ability to interpret datasheets, evaluate component suitability, and identify key compliance parameters
- Ability to manage time and effort to meet project milestones
- Experience working with Microsoft applications.
- Experience creating and using dashboards and project management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment
- Understanding of regulatory certification requirements such as CE marking
- Familiarity with PLM environments (Arena, Agile, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail, documentation rigor, and process discipline
- Experience working with Environmental requirements such as RoHS, REACH, POP, WEEE
- Experience working within a Quality Management System environment certified to AS9100 or ISO9000
