CHANNEL / PROJECT FINANCE MANAGER Job Location: Nariman Point, Mumbai, Maharashtra Industry: Financial Services / NBFC / Fintech Designation: Channel / Project Finance Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 3–4 Years Qualification: M.Com / MBA Preferred Background: NBFC, Fintech or IT Industry About the Role We are looking for a capable and commercially oriented Channel / Project Finance Manager to manage and expand channel finance programmes, coordinate with lending institutions and fintech partners, and oversee invoice financing activities. The ideal candidate should have a sound understanding of working capital financing solutions and experience in managing financial products, lender relationships and customer engagements. Candidates with 3–4 years of experience in an NBFC or Fintech company will be preferred, particularly those with exposure to the IT industry. Key Responsibilities Monitor, manage and scale the organisation's Channel Finance programme. Coordinate with banks, NBFCs, lenders and fintech partners to facilitate financing solutions. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with lending institutions and financial partners. Monitor and manage the end-to-end invoice financing process, ensuring timely processing and resolution of issues. Understand customer financing requirements and recommend appropriate working capital and project finance solutions. Support the implementation and management of channel finance arrangements. Coordinate with internal teams, lenders and customers for documentation, approvals, disbursements and transaction follow-ups. Identify opportunities to expand the adoption of channel finance and other financing products. Travel for customer meetings, business development and promotion of financing solutions. Engage with existing and prospective customers to understand their financial requirements and promote suitable products. Track financing transactions, maintain relevant records and prepare reports on programme performance. Resolve operational issues and ensure smooth coordination among customers, lenders and fintech partners. Contribute to business growth by identifying new customers and expanding existing financing relationships. Working Capital & Financial Product Knowledge Candidates should have a good understanding of working capital and financing products, including: WCDL (Working Capital Demand Loan) Leasing solutions Traditional Channel Finance Project Finance Term Loans Letters of Credit (LC) Invoice Financing Qualification & Experience M.Com or MBA in Finance, Banking, Business Administration or a related discipline. Minimum 3–4 years of relevant work experience in finance, lending, channel finance or working capital solutions. Experience in an NBFC or Fintech company will be preferred. Candidates with relevant experience in the IT industry will receive preference. Practical understanding of lender coordination, financing processes and financial documentation. Experience in customer relationship management and business development for financial products. Willingness to travel for customer meetings and business development activities.
