Position: Plant Head – General Manager (Operations) Location: Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh Experience: 20–25 Years Qualification: B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering; MBA Operations preferred CTC: Approx. ₹24 LPA Working Days: Monday–Saturday Job Summary Seeking an experienced Plant Head / General Manager – Operations to lead end-to-end plant operations, productivity, quality, maintenance, cost optimisation, automation and team performance in a mass-production environment. Key Responsibilities Lead operations across press shop, cold forging, CNC, heat treatment, finishing, assembly and dispatch. Drive production planning, machine loading, manpower utilisation and material flow. Improve OEE, productivity, PPH, line balancing and lead time while reducing downtime. Implement TPM, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, SMED, Kanban and Low Cost Automation. Ensure equipment availability, preventive/predictive maintenance and commissioning of new machines. Lead quality systems, customer complaints, CAPA and audit readiness. Control labour, consumable, energy and maintenance costs; drive scrap and MUDA reduction. Manage budgets, CAPEX, manpower planning and resource optimisation. Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, safety and social compliance requirements. Develop teams, improve operator skills and reduce attrition. Drive daily work management, MIS, performance reviews and continuous improvement. Desired Profile 20–25 years of total experience with 15+ years in independent plant/operations leadership. Strong experience in auto components/mass production manufacturing. Hands-on knowledge of CNC, presses, heat treatment, cold forging and automation. Proven track record in productivity improvement, cost reduction and manpower optimisation.
