We’re looking for an Manufacturing Engineer to support our Electrical Solutions & Prefabrication group in Champlin, MN. Unlike a traditional mass-production role, this position acts as a bridge between custom, high-mix/low-volume make-to-order shop operations and dynamic field installations. The Manufacturing Engineer will serve as a core optimization partner, driving the documentation of standardized workflows, designing flexible workstation strategies, and leveraging operational data to optimize panel shop, prefabrication shop, and active job site construction processes.
Responsibilities

- →KPI & Operational Reporting: Create and maintain mechanisms to track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, material waste, throughput, and labor utilization.
- →Production Line & Control Development: Assist in developing scalable, temporary, or variable production lines and robust procedure control documentation to safeguard repeatable accuracy in a make-to-order landscape.
- →Lean & Waste Mitigation: Champion Lean and 5S principles, identifying and eliminating non-value-added activities (waste) in material handling, staging, and assembly.
