As an Operations Manager at Ekimetrics you will support the effective staffing of project teams by coordinating assignments, maintaining visibility into team capacity, and helping ensure work readiness across the organization. This role falls within Operations, with close collaboration with HR, Finance, and delivery teams. The specialist serves as a key connector between project teams, account managers, and leadership, ensuring that assignments are aligned with skills, availability, and business needs. The position helps balance workloads, monitor utilization trends, and support day-to-day communication to keep stakeholders informed and projects properly staffed.

  • Coordinate assignment of professionals to project based on skills, availability, and priority needs.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee profiles to support informed staffing decisions.
  • Support weekly staffing cycles by preparing data, understanding demand, and identifying best-fit matches.
  • Track project pipeline inputs to anticipate staffing needs and contribute to short and long-term planning.
  • Create, document, and conduct trainings on operations processes.
  • Monitor workload distribution and surface capacity risks or imbalances across teams.
  • Maintain current views of utilization, availability, and upcoming work needs.
  • Maintain forecasting views: planned revenue, planned production capacity, and operational risks
  • Prepare basic reports/dashboards on utilization, capacity, and resource readiness for leadership review.
  • Ensure data & tools accurately translate business reality.
  • Ensure delivery teams are respecting the reporting processes and inputting the right information on the tools.
  • Proactively flag discrepancies / points of attention.
    • Partner with account and technical managers to confirm staffing decisions and resolve minor conflicts.
    • Serve as point of contact for employees regarding assignments, workload considerations, and staffing clarity.
    • Communicate staffing updates, risks, and changes to appropriate stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth onboarding, transitions, and internal handoffs.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Data Analytics or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience supporting staffing, scheduling, or resource coordination in a professional services or project-based environment.
  • Familiarity with utilization tracking, capacity planning concepts, or project workflow processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in project management software(s) (Napta a plus).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with multiple stakeholders.
