Chemistry Teacher

We are looking for a Chemistry Teacher for a bilingual school based in Beijing. This position is available with the upcoming academic 2026-2027 academic year starting in August 2026.

The school is situated in the Yizhuang district of Beijing and provides bilingual education. It combines the best aspects of Eastern and Western education philosophies. It offers a comprehensive education program from Early Childhood to Upper Secondary, catering to both local and expat children. The courses from Grades 1-9 are in accordance with the Chinese National Curriculum and prepare students for overseas universities.’

Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of chemistry to the whole school students utilizing the IGCSE and A-Level and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

• Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate
• Two or more years teaching experience in the teachable subject
• Excellent communications skills
