Computer Science & ICT Teacher

We are looking for a Computer Science & ICT Teacher for an international school in Wuhan. This position is available from the upcoming 2026–27 academic year in August, 2026.

About the school

Located in Wuhan, this international and bilingual school offers an innovative, high expectations curriculum in a modern campus with spacious classrooms, gymnasiums, multiple performance spaces, science labs, a swimming pool, and student dorms. It currently serves over 400 students in grades PreK to 9 and will expand annually toward a capacity of 1,800 students in grades PreK to 12. From middle school onward, students engage in advanced coursework that builds strong foundations in core subjects and prepares them for honors and Advanced Placement pathways beginning in ninth grade, while the school also emphasizes embracing Chinese culture and creating a supportive environment for both students and faculty.

About the role

As a Computer Science teacher, you spark students’ curiosity and build strong foundations in digital thinking. In primary school, you introduce STEAM-focused skills such as coding, 3D modeling, robotics, electrical engineering, multimedia, and productivity tools. You emphasize design-minded problem solving so students can connect ideas across subjects and apply learning to real-world challenges. In middle and high school, you guide students through design strategies and methodologies, data organization, and common algorithms, helping them develop confidence and prepare for future AP success. As well as:

• Foster meaningful relationships with each student to support a personalized and successful learning journey
• Guide students toward academic achievement, personal responsibility, and intellectual growth
• Pursue continuous professional growth through professional development, collaboration, and up-to-date best practices
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative school community

• Background in Design or Technology teaching preferred
• Experience working in a bilingual setting preferred
• Familiarity with ISTE standards
• Experience with at least one programming language and block-based coding
• Hands on exposure to 3D modeling, robotics or electrical engineering, and productivity or multimedia tools
• Awareness of CSTA standards
