Intercity Bus and Coach Driver - Inverness

Ember is the UK's first fully-electric, zero-emission coach company. We launched in October 2020 and are now running multiple routes from Aberdeen to Edinburgh and Dundee to Glasgow.  We’ll soon be adding others across Scotland, and we're delighted to confirm that Inverness is our fastest growing location.

As a driver, you're on the front-line.  Not only will you be responsible for keeping the coach moving, you'll be the main point of contact for customers if they have any issues or need help.

• £15.50 per hour starting rate.

• £16.30 per hour after one year - we reward those who want to make a long term career.

• £16.90 per hour if you become an Ember Ambassador - those who really live our values and give the best passenger experience.

• Relief contracts are also available - £17.36 per hour (£15.00 base rate plus additional pay in lieu of holiday)

• Overtime rates starting at £18.60 per hour.

Ember run a 24/7 service across Scotland, seven days per week, and you'll need to be able to rotate between a wide variety of shifts. We'll try to make these as sociable as possible and we'll give you five weeks’ notice of what the rota looks like so you have plenty of time to plan. We also frequently have overtime opportunities available at shorter notice.
