The Specialist – Analytics PMO is responsible for coordinating the intake, planning, prioritization, tracking, and governance of analytics projects across business segments and domains. The role serves as the single point of contact for analytics project intake, facilitates monthly release planning and steering committee reviews, monitors project progress and developer capacity, and provides clear status reporting to stakeholders and Analytics Leadership. The specialist works closely with delivery leads to identify risks, mitigate issues, and support the timely delivery of Analytics, Data Engineering, and Workforce Transformation initiatives.
Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Requires 5–7 years of professional experience, including experience in analytics project coordination, PMO, program management, or project delivery governance.
- Plan and coordinate the monthly release calendar for analytics projects across business segments and domains.
- Track ongoing projects against agreed scope, milestones, dependencies, timelines, risks, and delivery commitments.
- Perform capacity planning for developers and maintain visibility of team allocation across active and upcoming initiatives.
- Track developer bandwidth and availability for upcoming weeks and highlight potential capacity constraints.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of pipeline projects, including intake status, priority, ownership, dependencies, and planned release.
- Conduct steering committee meetings to review, plan, and prioritize upcoming monthly releases by segment and domain.
- Prepare and send weekly status reports to stakeholders, presenting project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and key decisions by segment and domain.
- Act as the single point of contact for analytics project intake and ensure requests are captured, assessed, prioritized, and routed to the appropriate delivery teams.
- Work closely with delivery leads to monitor project progress, drive issue mitigation, remove delivery blockers, and support on-time project completion.
- Provide consolidated updates to Analytics Leadership on project risks, delays, capacity concerns, escalations, and decisions required.
- Maintain an overview of Data Engineering and Workforce Transformation projects to enable integrated planning and reporting.
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder management, facilitation, planning, analytical thinking, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate proficiency in project tracking and reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, or equivalent tools.
- Experience working with analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, cloud data platforms, or enterprise technology teams is preferred.
- Good understanding of project lifecycle, release management, demand intake, prioritization, resource planning, risk management, and governance practices.
- Ability to consolidate complex project information into concise, leadership-ready dashboards and status reports.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow up with cross-functional teams, and work effectively in a matrix organization.
- Exposure to Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery methodologies is desirable.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Azure data services, Databricks, SAP, or related analytics platforms is desirable.
