Join our team as Associate Director of Financial Aid and help shape student success! In this position you will be a strategic leader responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance while advancing student success. Reporting to the Director of Financial Aid Operations and Compliance, this role oversees internal controls, policies, audits, and compliance initiatives to support the University's mission. Reporting to the Director of Financial Aid Operations and Compliance, the Associate Director of Financial Aid, Compliance is expected to strategically lead student financial aid needs and manage the daily compliance and service-related needs of the office. This position will lead the internal control and compliance administration for the Office of Financial Aid including federal and state requirements, and institutional policies and procedures in a manner consistent with the University of Dayton’s mission and serves as the primary contact for various audits. This position will manage all compliance activities including the development, documentation, updating, and validation of all procedures and policies. As Associate Director, this position will develop the skills and knowledge of their team and drive an exceptional organizational culture. This individual provides leadership for various annual projects that support financial aid administration including COA, assessment of FAFSA Comment Codes, and the development of forms. This individual will work collaboratively with various offices across campus including Audit, Risk and Compliance, the Controller’s Office, Registrar, Recruitment and Admission, Student Accounts and UDIT. | Minimum Qualifications: |
* Bachelor’s Degree OR five years experience working in financial aid with progressive growth in responsibilities |

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following: * Master’s Degree in Business, Higher Education Administration or a related field |
