| Position Summary: |
The S&R division's Advanced Manufacturing Group collaborates across Ohio, Georgia and all other customer locations throughout the Air Force’s network of bases. The team’s efforts support AFLCMC contracts as well as other government and industry sponsored projects. The Process Engineering team executes material development, process development and engineering projects supporting technologies including technical projects both polymer and metal additive manufacturing, post-process machining, heat treatment, sheet-metal forming and other processes as needed to support customer requirements. The Advanced Manufacturing Process Engineering Team focuses on specifying, installing, qualifying, training, and operating new and legacy equipment. The Team Lead is responsible for ensuring the use of sound engineering practices and deliverables within required timelines, while maintaining ISO 9001 certification, supporting pursuit of AS9100 certification for selected special processes at UDRI’s Integrated Technologies and Operations Center (ITOC) in Kettering that meet all internal, customer, and contractual requirements. The team leader is responsible for the management of the Process Engineer Employee team and operates concurrently with leadership vision and mission. This is an on-site position. |
