Data Product Manager

The Data Product Manager will lead the strategy, delivery, and ongoing management of assigned enterprise data products or components of a data domain. Operating at the intersection of business, data engineering, analytics, and governance, this role will translate business needs into scalable, trusted data assets that support business decision-making, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance within a highly regulated financial services environment.

• →Own the roadmap and execution for assigned data products or portions of a data domain.
• →Partner with business stakeholders to identify use cases and translate requirements into outcome-driven data product features.
• →Define and maintain product documentation, including product requirements documents, epics, and user stories for datasets, metrics, APIs, and dashboards.
• →Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and platform teams using Agile delivery practices.
• →Ensure data products are reliable, discoverable, secure, fit for purpose, and meet established standards for data quality, performance, availability, scalability, and security.
• →Implement data governance requirements, including metadata management, data lineage, and data quality controls.
• →Support regulatory, risk, and audit reviews related to data access, privacy, and retention.
• →Track and report on data product usage, quality, and delivery metrics.
• →Drive adoption through documentation, enablement, and stakeholder communication.

• →Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
• →5 to 7+ years of product management experience, including exposure to data, analytics, or platform products.
• →Working knowledge of data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines.
• →Experience translating business needs into clear, actionable data product requirements.
• →Familiarity with Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies.
• →Basic understanding of data governance concepts and financial services controls.

• Experience in financial services, fintech, or another regulated industry.
• Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools and metrics layers.
• A background in analytics, data engineering, or quantitative roles.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
