Junior Electrician (Contract)

Our client is seeking a Junior Electrician to join the Coega,Port Elizabeth team on a contract basis · Carry out routine maintenance and preventative servicing on electrical equipment and machinery · Assist with troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repairs of electrical systems · Maintain and repair electrical components including panels, motors, wiring, and control systems · Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment · Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards · Provide basic mechanical assistance when required · Perform inspections to identify potential faults, hazards, or maintenance needs · Accurately complete maintenance records, job cards, and reports · Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment Requirements · Grade 12 · Qualified Trade Tested Electrician · 1–3 years’ experience in an industrial or maintenance environment · Sound knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and fault-finding techniques · Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings · Valid driver’s license with own reliable transport · Must be based in the Port Elizabeth / Uitenhage area
