~1 min readEnsemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional voice instructor to teach part-time for Music and Dance Academy, our location in Tucson, AZ. This teacher will be instructing IN PERSON at our school. Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but consistency is appreciated by both students and school staff, and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability.
We are especially looking for teachers who:
- Have experience teaching voice to ages 5+
- Are comfortable teaching a variety of styles/genres
- Have basic piano skills and can accompany their students in lessons
The position is for Wednesday afternoons and evenings, with potential for more hours based on the availability of the teacher who fills this role.
Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.
Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $25-$27/hour. Health benefits options and a 401K with employer match are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble after 30 days of employment.
