About the role
We’re looking for a Senior SDET / QA Automation Engineer to join our Bengaluru team, working on EquiLend Spire, our flagship securities finance platform powering front-to-back trade lifecycle workflows across global markets.
This is a hands-on automation-first role. You’ll be responsible for designing, building and scaling automated test frameworks, embedding quality throughout the SDLC, and enabling continuous testing in a CI/CD environment.
You’ll work closely with engineering, product and DevOps to ensure high-quality, resilient releases across a complex, enterprise-grade fintech platform.

What we're looking for
- 5+ years of commercial experience in software quality engineering or QA automation.
- Proficient in Java, JavaScript, Python and SQL.
- Strong grasp of testing fundamentals, including test case design and defect lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber and writing feature files in Gherkin.
- Practical experience with Selenium or Playwright in a commercial environment.
- Knowledge of AI-powered QA agents and LLM prompt engineering for test case generation, test data preparation, and AI-assisted scripting.
- Strong experience with API testing (REST/GraphQL), including authentication and error handling.
- Hands-on experience with database testing.
- Understanding of messaging systems and asynchronous processing.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar defect tracking and test management tools.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work well within Agile teams.
- Working knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
