Ready to make connectivity from space universally accessible, secure and actionable? Then you’ve come to the right place!

E-Space is bridging Earth and space to enable hyper-scaled deployments of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and services. We are building a highly-advanced low Earth orbit (LEO) space system that will fundamentally change the design, economics, manufacturing and service delivery associated with traditional satellite and terrestrial IoT systems.

We’re intentional, we’re unapologetically curious and we’re 100% committed to innovate space-based communications and deliver actionable intelligence that will expand global economies, protect space and our planet and enhance our overall quality of life.

You’ll be at the forefront of testing and validating the electronic heart of our spacecraft. In this role, you’ll design, build, and troubleshoot flight hardware and design and build electronic test equipment from benches and HIL setups to flat-sat systems. You’ll ensure our avionics, FSW, GN&C, and RF payloads perform flawlessly in orbit. And you’ll blend hands-on electrical test and design expertise with automation and scripting skills to create reliable, repeatable test systems that drive mission success.

  • Design and build electronic test hardware—including HIL benches, flat-sat interfaces, and custom test fixtures to verify and validate spacecraft avionics and subsystems.
  • Develop and maintain automated test control software using Python (primary), LabVIEW, or MATLAB to streamline execution and data collection.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware issues across analog, digital, and RF interfaces; perform root-cause analysis using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and network analyzers.
  • Execute “test-like-you-fly” scenarios to validate FSW–hardware interactions, timing, and fault management.
  • Support prototype, qualification, and flight test configurations, optimizing setups for repeatability and robustness.
  • Participate in on-orbit checkout and RF subsystem validation, including link verification and payload throughput analysis.
  • Capture, analyze, and document test data to assess performance trends and improve test coverage.
  • Manage test scripts, configurations, and documentation using version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Collaborate closely with design, software, and AI&T teams to translate system requirements into detailed hardware-level verification procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement in test hardware design, automation, and system reliability across multiple spacecraft builds.
  • 5+ years of experience in spacecraft, aerospace, or high-reliability electronic hardware testing and integration.
  • Proven experience designing, building, and troubleshooting HIL or flat-sat electronic test systems for avionics and FSW validation.
  • Strong hands-on skills with electronic test instruments (oscilloscopes, logic/network analyzers, power supplies, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Python for test automation (required); LabVIEW or MATLAB experience a big plus.
  • Solid understanding of avionics interfaces (CAN, RS-422, Ethernet, SpaceWire, etc.) and RF fundamentals (telemetry/command systems, impedance matching, S-parameters, gain, noise figure).
  • Familiarity with embedded systems, real-time simulation environments, and test automation frameworks.
  • Strong debugging and analytical mindset bridging hardware, firmware, and software.
  • Experience with Git-based workflows, test data analysis, and structured documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering.
  • Systems thinker with a hands-on approach to test, integration, and operations.
  • Detail-oriented, methodical, and passionate about building robust test hardware that ensures mission success.
  • Effective communicator who thrives in fast-paced, cross-disciplinary teams.
