R&D Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Extrusion Technology

·         Apply sound engineering methods to investigate, understand, and develop practical process inventions and modifications for high temperature thin film extrusion for magnet wire insulation systems.

·         Hands-on technical leadership of design and execution of extrusion insulation technology.

·         Interface with R&D Chemists to provide knowledge and develop extrusion technology and processes for the introduction and evaluation of new/modified materials.  

·         Responsible for development and implementation of products and processes to meet or exceed the requirements of current and future customer applications. 

·         Provide technical support for new equipment evaluation, assist with the installation, startup, training, and product launch phases.

·         Evaluate prototype equipment, document performance, and recommend modifications.  

·         Develop new processes and products to improve quality, efficiency and cost of existing extruded insulation products.
