Database Senior Specialist.Infrastructure & Operations

To assure highest level of databases availability and to maintain the data integrity, security and best database performance. To plan and develop the backup strategies assuring the best data recovery time.

• Enhance the Database Performance to assure using the server resources in the most effective and efficient way. • Enhance the database Security to support the data confidentiality and privacy. • Plan and follow up the database preventive maintenance activities and regular health checks. • Monitor and assure the database availability to extremely minimize the unplanned down time. • Set and implement the proper backup and recovery strategy to avoid any data loss and recover in the best possible time slot. • Play the second level support role to help and assist the applications support, the operation and the development teams for the issues concerning connecting to/running in the Databases. • Plan, evaluate, install and configure any new product or feature related to the database. • Document the service infrastructure and maintain it up to date.

BS in Computers Science, Engineering or equivalents. Oracle Database Performance and tuning experience in DB tuning and/or SQL tuning Knowledge and understanding of the OEM and SQL/PLSQL Good knowledge in UNIX/Linux OS Highly motivated and competent with decision-making ability Good communication and documentation skills Team work spirit

From 2-3 Years experience in using and administrating Oracle database server Backup and Recovery knowledge using the RMAN Experience in the Oracle Database installations, migrations and patchsets updates
