About the Role
~3 min readReporting to the Senior Supervisor, Local Scale Planning, the Senior Lead, Adaptive Management is a leadership role that requires strategic thinking, management of complex environmental programs, and maintenance of essential relationships with various stakeholders. They are responsible for planning, implementing and reporting on the Adaptive Management Plan to support mining operations and regional environmental performance and compliance.
To be successful, we are looking for someone with outstanding organization, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills, who can effectively collaborate with partners at all levels across the organization, to navigate inter-disciplinary challenges. Strong multitasking, teamwork and environmental project management experience skills are vital for success in this role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a substantial contribution to the sustainability of mining through advancing the objectives of the Elk Valley Water Quality Plan. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with world-renowned subject matter experts and teams working to advance science related to selenium and other mine-related constituents in the industry.
