R&D Engineer Intern (Summer 2027)

• →Work on cross-functional design teams to develop new product, address design, process, quality, or system issues, and maintain existing device master records (DMR) that include but not limited to product prints, quality inspection sheets, standard work instructions, Bill of Materials, manufacturing prints, process flows and process controls. 
• →Participate in design control and risk management activities. 
• →Learn aspects of surgical procedures in order to develop innovative solutions to solve/satisfy customer needs. 
• →Generate the creation of SLA prototype models to evaluate new design concepts. 
• →Evaluate product design for manufacturability (DFM) and suggest design process adjustments and quality improvements. 
• →Engage in the selection, development, and testing of tools, fixtures, machinery, and equipment used in manufacturing. 
• →Collaborate cross-functionally with design, engineering, process, and/or production teams to meet quality, productivity, and cost objectives. 
• →Other duties as assigned.
