Engineering Internship

Curative is hiring Clinical Lab Assistant II's who are passionate about helping the company as we work to save lives by processing COVID-19 tests. Candidates will be able to utilize their previous experience and degrees in a life science or related field.

Under direct and constant supervision of a Laboratory Leads or Clinical Laboratory Scientists, the Clinical Laboratory Assistant II is responsible for:

• →Assisting the CLS’ and Lab Technicians on the RNA extraction and PCR teams (as needed).
• →Checking inventory and ordering supplies
• →Performing clerical duties
• →Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelors Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Medical Laboratory Science
• Minimum of six months related laboratory experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Clinical laboratory experience required, including but not limited to customer service, specimen processing, and laboratory support in a hospital or reference laboratory setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills, such as word processing and laboratory information systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of good laboratory practices and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.

Schedule: Full time position; 40 hrs per week; weekends may be required.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $25.00 per hour
