About the Role
~1 min readAre you a Veteran who is exiting the service? Looking to better understand how a leading Tech company works, or interested in a future career within AI or Data science? Faculty, a leading UK AI company, is offering opportunities throughout the year for service veterans to complete a work placement (unpaid “Civilian Work Attachment").
Whether it’s analysing intelligence, coordinating operations, extracting insights, or driving decision-making, AI is the tool of the UK’s military – and the advantage that tomorrow’s forces need to protect British citizens.
At Faculty, our custom machine learning software is helping defence companies tackle the sector’s latest challenges and opportunities. From surveillance and reconnaissance, through to autonomous systems and combat service support.

If you would like to be considered, please submit your CV and complete the application form.
We aim to grow the best team - not the most similar one. We know that diversity of individuals fosters diversity of thought, and that strengthens our principle of seeking truth. And we know from experience that diverse teams deliver better work, relevant to the world in which we live. We’re united by a deep intellectual curiosity and desire to use our abilities for measurable positive impact. We strongly encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, ethnicities, genders, religions and sexual orientations.
